William G. Muir lives in the small rural Southern Indiana town of Charlestown. He is currently single. Growing up his favorite series of books was the EncyclopediaBrown boy detective books by Donald J. Sobol. From a young age he wanted to be a writer. His favorite part of the day in elementary school was the creative writing time. In middle school he would sit at an old typewriter coming up with stories. In high school his interest took him in other directions. He played on his high school’s freshman basketball team and received Varsity Letters in both football and track. In his senior year he discover a passion for reading when he picked up the Jean M. Auel novel Clan of the Cave Bear. After working a decade in fast food restaurants and a year working on the 2000 Census, he decided to finally return to his passion of writing. He holds an Associates Degree in Computer and Electronics Engineer Technology.
